By reporting your climate data through the CDP-ICLEI unified reporting system, you can join local and sub-national governments around the world working to build a zero carbon and resilient planet for citizens now, and in the future.
Reporting is not only important to collectively build a sustainable future, it also has great value at the city level. “It’s important to have an objective way to measure the work undertaken by different cities. The CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System has helped us a great deal to go forward with our goals and raise our ambition level,” said Minna Arve, Mayor of Turku, Finland and Vice President of ICLEI.
Cities that report through this unified system will benefit from tools and services including feedback on your response and your data will be featured in the Open Data Portal.
The unified reporting system is also recognized by the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM). This means that the online questionnaire reflects the GCoM’s reporting framework and cities can report their climate action data to the GCoM this platform.
