What we are achieving
The Climate Conformity consists of:
The Climate Governance: a process of raising awareness and mobilizing efforts towards the adoption of a climate governance model that integrates various areas and sectors of local or regional government. This model is associated with an executive perspective aligned with the most up-to-date and recognized international political commitments, such as the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy and ACA Brazil.
The Greenhouse Gas Inventory: provides a comprehensive overview of the primary emission sources within the territory. This detailed assessment identifies and quantifies the various sources of greenhouse gas emissions, enabling targeted strategies for reduction and effective climate action planning.
The Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (CRVA): a technical support tool for cities that enables the identification of climate risks and vulnerabilities affecting municipalities and their citizens. Its primary aim is to support decision-making processes and the implementation of adaptation measures to address climate change.
The Climate Action Plan: a key offering in our portfolio, designed to provide strategic guidance for businesses and territories in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to the impacts of climate change. Its primary objective is to identify effective pathways to mitigate potential material and immaterial losses resulting from extreme weather events.
Climate Regulation: consists of a specific law for the Climate Change Policy of the territory, developed in alignment with national legislation and international agreements on the subject. It encompasses the formulation, adoption, and implementation of plans, programs, policies, targets, and either restrictive or incentivizing actions. Additionally, it includes the regulation of collegiate bodies and other discussion forums involving social participation.
