About
Initiated and co-ordinated by ICLEI, Procura+ is a network of European public authorities and regions that connect, exchange and act on sustainable and innovation procurement.
The combined knowledge and experience of the Procura+ Network allows us to provide advice, support and publicity to any public authority that wants to implement sustainable and innovation procurement, and to champion sustainable public procurement at the European level.
Aims
- Share experiences, knowledge and best practices about sustainable public procurement through annual events, webinars and newsletters
- Collectively develop policy and criteria on specific areas related to sustainable procurement in thematic Interest Groups
- Provide the latest criteria and policy developments, as well as opportunities to engage in dialogue, at European policy level
- Create strong links with other procurement professionals
- Provide individual advice and support with policies, strategies and ongoing and upcoming tenders, through the Procura+ Helpdesk
- Showcase sustainable and innovation procurement achievements on the international stage.
Activities
Procura+ Seminars provide an opportunity for face-to-face exchange on sustainable procurement and is the meeting space for all Procura+ Network participants.
- Procura+ Webinars offer practical knowledge on emerging and important topics in SPP, focusing on real life examples from Procura+ Participants.
- Procura+ Conferences offer an European-wide forum to promote exchange and dialogue amongst all involved in Sustainable Public Procurement
- Procura+ Awards reward successful, already running, sustainable and innovative public procurements that have led to significant improvements of public goods, services, processes and infrastructure.
- Procura+ Interest Groups bring together participants who wish to collaborate on a specific sustainable procurement topic of common interest.
- The Procura+ Network Twinning Programme (CityMatch) brings together Procura+ Participants to support each other in implementing sustainable and innovation procurement.
