ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network working with more than 2,500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development.
Travis County, TX contracted ICLEI USA to complete 2019 and 2021 community-wide greenhouse-gas inventories, contribution analysis, and a report comparing the two inventories. These inventories form the baseline that will drive actions and policies moving forward and help the County align its efforts with its primary city, Austin.

Read more Read lessICLEI USA conducted 2019 and 2021 community-wide greenhous gas inventories following the US Community Protocol (USCP). Upon completion of the inventories, a business-as-usual forecast and science-based target were calculated for 2030. Finally, a report was written that compared the two inventories as well as a slide deck that was presented to County officials.
