A collaboration under NetworkNature EU, this policy brief explores the opportunities and challenges of integrating Nature-based Solutions (NbS) into urban and regional water resilience planning. It draws on research, policy, and good practices from the wider NbS community and presents recommendations to strengthen this integration. The brief was co-created during a science-policy event held in February 2025.
It is aimed at policymakers and other experts interested in how and why NbS should be integrated into their water resilience planning.
