Many Small Island Developing States face increasing challenges from climate change, geographic isolation, and global disruptions, which threaten food security and local livelihoods. This handbook highlights seagrapes (Caulerpa racemosa and Caulerpa chemnitzia) as a nutritious and climate-resilient food source in Samoa and Kiribati. It provides practical guidance for cultivating this edible seaweed as a nature-based solution to improve nutrition, strengthen livelihoods, and support healthier coastal ecosystems.
