AI-enabled and people-centered smart mobility: How Goyang is rethinking urban mobility

This Good Practice explores how Goyang, Republic of Korea, is building a smart mobility system that combines AI and data with a people-centered approach. Through initiatives including open labs, digital mapping, the Smart IoT Walkway, and an autonomous bus, the city demonstrates how engaging residents as partners, piloting solutions before scaling, and building a strong data foundation can support smarter and more sustainable mobility.
