What we did

Before the cohort, twenty Flordia communities were starting their climate action journey. All communities undertook their first community-wide greenhouse gas inventory, which led to planning for reduction strategies and sustainability action. Overall, the cohort lends itself to regional action based on community locations.

A- supporting local and regional climate action planning efforts B- supporting the creation of 20 new CW GHGIs in FL, where little no GHGIs have been made C- by creating a CW GHGI each FL community can now identify which sectors are a higher priority than if they had not benchmarked emissions ICLEI USA supported local and regional climate action planning efforts by assisting 20 Florida communities in developing community-wide greenhouse gas inventories.
