ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network working with more than 2,500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development.
A key part of ICLEI USA’s mission is to facilitate knowledge exchange between our members. This facilitation is complicated by the vast breadth of topics within the sustainability field. To ensure there is opportunity to discuss topics that are not typically covered by our programming, ICLEI USA started a webinar series to address specific challenges faced by our membership.

Read more Read lessICLEI USA hosted four webinars in our 2024 Insights and Exchange series. This series intends to address complex challenges being faced across our membership. The intention is to provide a safe space to discuss the real challenges facing sustainability practitioners. Webinars were open to all members and interested local and regional governments. Two webinars included fact sheets with case studies and key info from the webinar. The four webinars in 2024 were titled: "Cost Analysis and Implementation Planning for Climate Action," "Safeguarding Public Health In A Changing Climate," "Success Stories of Utilizing Elective Pay to Fund Climate Projects," "Subnational Actors in a US Low Emissions Scenario."
