ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network working with more than 2,500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development.
The Hudson Valley Regional Council (HVRC), a regional government entity that works with local governments in the Hudson Valley region of New York state, contracted with ICLEI USA to support local governments in the counties of Dutchess and Westchester in creating climate vulnerability assessments and adaptation plans. These planning documents are being submitted to New York State’s Climate Smart Communities (CSC) program for review and approval.
