The Secretariat for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean of ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, presents this initiative so that candidates for popularly elected positions in Mexico assume a commitment to sustainable development and climate action for the benefit of all.

Outcome indicator: Diversity of candidates who signed the commitment according to the various political forces in force in Mexico. Outcome indicator: Number of allied institutions that were involved in promoting the Commitment. Outcome indicator: In the future, number of candidates who met with ICLEI once they assumed their positions to follow up on the proposals embodied in the Commitment. Outcome indicator: Number of Local Governments that assumed their commitment and therefore became members of ICLEI.
