What we are doing
The EIP marketplace is a market-changing undertaking, engaging cities, industry and financiers in matchmaking activities, leading to smart city project design and delivery. The EIP-SCC Marketplace is expected to focus on upscaled replication and deployment of innovative measures in European cities while focusing on the needs of European cities (and their citizens) and respecting the subsidiarity principle. The EIP-SCC Marketplace should become the main point of reference for all efforts to build a market for smart cities in Europe, using the expanded and improved Matchmaking facility as main tool for delivery. The actions triggered by the EIP-SCC Marketplace’s Matchmaking and the EIP-SCC initiatives are expected to accelerate the development and deployment of low carbon technology applications and solutions in the urban environment at the intersections of Energy, Mobility & Transport and ICT.
