ICLEI ES will participate in the definition of a framework that will facilitate the vertical and horizontal integration across public authorities to enable a better coordination toward the Energy Transition; this implies the assessment of existing barriers and needs, the analysis and harmonization of existing classifications structures and most relevant plans related to Energy as well as the set up a governance working group within the public authorities involved. A relevant role will be played by ICLEI ES in the capacity building and replication activities, by supporting in the design of targeted training materials, the establishment of bilateral peer exchanges. In particular ICLEI ES will be responsible for the institutionalization of the engagement of local and regional authorities.
