ACTIVITY INFORMATION
What we did

The ETC/ULS (European Topic Center on on Urban, Land and Soil Systems) mainly supports the European Environment Agency (EEA) Strategic Area (SA) 1: Informing policy implementation; primarily project group 1.8 Urban, land use and soil, but also project groups 1.4, Climate change adaptation and LULUCF, and 1.7, Biodiversity and ecosystems, agriculture and forests. In SA 2, Assessing systemic challenges, the ETC supports project group 2.4, Sustainability assessments and state of the environment reporting. The multiannual objective is to support and inform policy development and implementation in the above areas by means of data, information/indicators and assessments. Every year ETC/ULS sets up a so called Action Workplan with tasks and aims for all members.
