What we did
The State Government of Bihar is aiming towards net zero emissions and is preparing an overall plan of action for reducing emissions in different sectors in the state. ICLEI is supporting the State Government in analysing the waste sector, including solid waste and liquid waste from domestic sources and preparing an action plan to reduce emissions from this sector to target netzero emissions in the state. Overall, the project will help to highlight the contribution of the state government of Bihar towards the national emission reduction targets as well as towards the national programmes such as Swachh Bharat Mission.
