ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network working with more than 2,500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development.
The City of Reno’s 2019-2025 Sustainability and Climate Action Plan sets ambitious goals, including quantifying community-wide greenhouse gas emissions through 2021. Doing so will assist Reno in meeting the CAP’s nine priorities, and thus the plan’s goals. The City contracted ICLEI to create the 2021 community-wide inventory in response.

ICLEI is using the ClearPath Climate Planner software to do so. Completion of this inventory will help Reno to meet the goals and priorities of its Sustainability and Climate Action Plan for 2019-2025.
