What we did

ICLEI USA’s partner, the South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER), funded this cohort to support local governments in Texas and Oklahoma with resilience capacity building.

What we achieved

ICLEI USA developed materials, presentations, and a project plan for 20 participating local governments. Over 5 months, ICLEI USA trained participants on key vulnerability assessment concepts and provided them with one-on-one support through their assessment processes. ICLEI USA designed the cohort to equip local governments with the knowledge and tools needed to understand, communicate, and plan for climate change-related risks. Content was tailored to local governments in the states of Texas and Oklahoma.
