Youth Inclusion Toolkit for Local Authorities

This resource aims to transform how local governments engage with young people in designing and implementing Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for a resilient, equitable future. The toolkit includes 12 flexible tools, from hackathons, role play games, youth councils, and participatory mapping to innovative citizen science methods and engagement in “third spaces” like parks and libraries. These tools have been tested and validated across multiple European cities and tailored for both formal and informal education settings. It includes inspiring case studies from across Europe.
