Intern, Global Events Team
ICLEI World Secretariat, based in Bonn, Germany, offers an internship for Master’s students in their final study phase. This internship provides hands-on experience in global event coordination within a multicultural and international working environment. The selected intern will support the planning and implementation of Daring Cities 2025, as well as contribute to the preparation of the Multilevel Action & Urbanization Pavilion in the lead-up to UNFCCC COP30. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities include researching funding opportunities, preparing proposals, supporting the Transformative Actions Program (TAP), and managing partner relationships through effective communication, progress tracking, and follow-ups.

This internship provides hands-on experience in digital content creation, website management, and international sustainable development advocacy. The selected intern will support ICLEI’s Global Communications team, contributing to the organization’s web content, social media, and newsletter activities, while also assisting in the promotion of key events such as Daring Cities 2025 and COP30.
