Intern, Global Communications, Web Content

ICLEI World Secretariat offers an internship for Bachelor’s or Master’s students in the field of communications, marketing, or related areas. This internship provides hands-on experience in digital content creation, website management, and international sustainable development advocacy. The selected intern will support ICLEI’s Global Communications team, contributing to the organization’s web content, social media, and newsletter activities, while also assisting in the promotion of key events such as Daring Cities 2025 and COP30.

Project Officer, Climate Action / Urban Research and Innovation Teams

ICLEI World Secretariat is seeking a Project Officer to coordinate international sustainability efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. This full-time role, covering a long-term sick leave, involves managing the Kaohsiung–ICLEI Climate Neutral and Smart Cities Community of Practice and supporting cross-team collaboration and knowledge exchange. The successful candidate will oversee project implementation, engage with city partners, and represent ICLEI at global events.

Senior Officer, Urban Research and Innovation Teams

ICLEI World Secretariat is looking for a Senior Officer to join its Urban Research, Innovation, and Development team. This one-year position is ideal for experienced professionals in urban innovation, digital finance, and climate governance. The role involves leading international projects such as the EU-funded RethinkAction and contributing to IPCC-aligned knowledge products, while shaping ICLEI’s research agenda through strategic writing, project design, and global stakeholder engagement.

Junior Officer, Urban Research and Innovation Teams

ICLEI World Secretariat is hiring a Junior Officer for its Urban Research, Innovation, and Development team. This one-year position offers early-career professionals the opportunity to support global research activities on sustainable urban development, digitalization, and climate change. The selected candidate will contribute to research publications, data analysis, and knowledge curation, including key contributions to the IPCC Special Report on Cities and events such as Daring Cities and COP30.
