Join us to delve into ICLEI USA’s report, The Ambition Gap: From Intent to Implementation in Local Climate Action, and the recommendations for communities as they push to accelerate climate implementation between now and 2030. As a practical case, we will explore the systems innovation methodology, a solution to bridging the ambition gap, developed by the Centre for Public Impact (CPI). This methodology is aiding Washington’s King County Metro Transit in its ambitious goal of achieving a zero-emissions transit fleet by 2035. Focusing on the crucial bridge between planning and implementation, CPI and King County will discuss the challenges, strategies, and lessons learned from their work.
