Global calls to triple renewable energy capacity and double energy efficiency are adding to the momentum of climate action. Local governments are well-placed to take immediate action in their communities, but how can they do it? What planning approaches work best to integrate and align plans for a sustainable energy system with other socio-economic goals?

Where can they access the information they need to kick-start their journey? This session, structured as a peer exchange, aims to feature cities that have undertaken such a journey, for example, towards 100% renewable energy, and provide best practices and insights for those just starting or eager to learn.
