This webinar will focus on 1 of the 3 main themes of webinar series: “too little”. It will encompass a range of challenges and experiences of local governments in securing adequate and resilient water supply.
Focus will be cast on stories of how cities have navigated “day-zero” scenarios, in which running out of water was either a serious threat or a lived reality, particularly the local–regional dynamics that either contributed to an unsustainable paradigm and/or lead to more integrated systems that helped to avoid or recover from critical water shortages.
These stories would take the form of case studies and learning from cities that have recently gone through such processes.
