What we are doing
The team of 17 partners meet in Genua to kick-off the 3.5 years project. Our mission cities - Torino, Kozani, Budapest, and Cork - stand at the forefront of this initiative, implementing, testing, and replicating our innovative solutions. The project TIPS4PED is set to revolutionize urban sustainability by designing, developing, and rigorously testing a pioneering Digital Twin-based Platform. This cutting-edge initiative aims to transform the way municipalities implement Positive Energy Districts (PED), enhancing environmental sustainability and reducing operational costs. At the heart of TIPS4PED is a people-centric approach, focusing on engaging, training, and empowering citizens and stakeholders. Utilising our consortium's extensive knowledge and leveraging prior EU experiences, TIPS4PED is driven by the ambitious goals set by the European Commission.
