What we did

Biodiversity programmes in ICLEI KO need a new strategy and vision aligned with the newly selected GBF and the launch of CitiesWithNature/RegionsWithNature Platform. ICLEI KO is willing to expand the network and liaison between diverse partner organisations and member LGs to foster ambitious biodiversity actions. This Nature Group Workshop is the KO's first partner gathering event to reaffirm the cooperation among the ICLEI stakeholders and to seek new creative opportunities regarding local and regional nature-based development projects.

What we achieved

ICLEI KO held thematic gathering with several international/national/regional institutions and organisations, addressing recent decisions and discussions made at the CBD COP16, and introduced potential reciprocal activities regarding biodiversity and ecosystem conservation and management. Partner organisations have confirmed that the participants share the same vision and goals to achieving harmony with nature, in the urban context. KO also introduced some of the next year's plans for the potential engagement of partner organisations.
