What we are doing
ICLEI Argentina, in collaboration with the Bahía Encerrada Association, 7has initiated the Biodiversity Action Project (AcBio). This project is designed to enhance the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Subnational Governments in the formulation and execution of climate actions that encompass prevention, protection, and restoration efforts in forests and wetlands. A key component of the project is the valorization of Nature's Contributions to People (NCP) within three natural protected areas: Península Mitre, Bahía Encerrada, and Corazón de la Isla, located in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, and the South Atlantic Islands.
