What we are doing
The year 2020 marked the planet and humanity by facing the Covid-19 epidemic. Initially, the international debate focused on the immediate impact on cities in terms of public health, but the crisis also demonstrated the critical importance of local governments in implementing effective cross-cutting policies in a context where cities were the epicenter of impacts and responses to the crisis. We see a tendency to increase the responsibilities of local governments and their possibilities for action - a strengthening of their role. This shows us that local sustainable urban development plays a key role in defining the impacts of humanity on the planet.
