What we are doing
LUPPA, the Urban Laboratory for Food Public Policies, is a collaborative platform designed to facilitate the development of integrated, participatory, and systemic municipal food policies. Conceived as a strategic tool, LUPPA supports cities in achieving healthy food systems that are resilient to climate and economic vulnerabilities, while promoting social justice. This is accomplished through the democratic construction of integrated and coherent policies that systematically address urban food challenges.

What we are achieving
ICLEI South America and the Instituto Comida do Amanhã have established a partnership to advance LUPPA's initiatives with subnational governments, aiming for the sustainable and resilient development of urban food systems. The second edition of LUPPA is scheduled for 2024, with the selection process for participating cities commencing in August 2024.
