Delve into ICLEI’s five pathways towards sustainable urban development and see what knowledge products are on offer in each area.
Established in 2012, the ICLEI East Asia Secretariat is hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in the Republic of Korea, and serves to coordinate regional projects and activities, and provide support to ICLEI Members in the Greater China Region, Japan, Korea, and Mongolia. ICLEI East Asia has developed local and regional programs and exchange platforms to accelerate sustainable, low-carbon development across the region. To further support sustainable, environmentally friendly development in Chinese cities, ICLEI East Asia opened the Beijing Office in 2018.
