South America
ICLEI has been active in Latin America since 1994, with the South America Secretariat based in São Paulo since 2011. Today, ICLEI South America connects 100+ Members in 12 countries to the global ICLEI network, supported by regional offices in Colombia and Argentina. The Secretariat has become a key regional actor in projects on climate and low-carbon development, resilience, solid waste, sustainable public procurement, urban biodiversity and more.
