City of Turku

About
The City of Turku lies on the southwest coast of Finland at the mouth of the Aura River. It is the oldest city within the country. It has historically played an important role as a dynamic trading crossroads, as a political centre in the Swedish-Finnish State and as a cultural hub hosting the first university of Finland. Nowadays, Turku is a notable commercial and passenger seaport, a regional capital and an important business and cultural centre.
