ICLEI will drive over 220 initiatives worldwide, focusing on our five pathways: Circular, equitable and people-centered, low emission, nature-based, and resilient development.
From the triennial ICLEI World Congress, held on 18-21 June in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Daring Cities 2024 kicking off in Bonn, Germany, back to back with the UN Climate Change Bonn Talks (SB60), ICLEI will continue to amplify the voices of cities, towns and regions on the global stage.
We’re proud to introduce our newly elected Regional Executive Committee (RexCom), which will shape our future until 2027. The election process continues this year with the vote of the ICLEI Global Executive Committee in the upcoming months.
ICLEI remains at the forefront of the global sustainability advocacy agenda, serving as the focal point for the Local Governments and Municipal Authorities (LGMA) Constituency to the UNFCCC, marking the roadmap to COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
